HOW TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY IN JUST 72 HOURS

Nothing works better than an good old fashioned natural disaster - like a hurricane or an earthquake to help stimulate our U.S. economy and get every one out shopping for the good of the country. Within the last 72 hours everything has been sold out at stores ..inventories depleted. Every battery ( C & Ds especially), flashlights, candles ( although not recommended) botttles of water, food, drugs, pampers, blankets, sandbags, Mallomars, emergency generators, portable radios, boardgames, propane tanks, Snickers, portable CD players, videos (disaster movies ), and lots of beer have been completely sold out at every major store and every convenience store. People lined up on the East Coast of the U.S- filling their gas tanks to the brim. "Regular" priced gas was sold out at many locations and no one was complaining about the price of "Premium" - they were happy to get the gas! On Friday Target had its busiest day ever! There was a line waiting to get into the parking lot.

Now that the hurricane is over there's lots of work for everyone. Landscapers and contractors out of work will be busy. Houses will need to be rebuilt. Insurance premiums will go up. Claims will be submitted.

Is it a coincidence that early in the week an earthquake originated close to Washington D.C.?
I DON'T THINK SO! Could this be Obama's new plan? Could this be what they were planning in Jackson Hole this week? I didn't hear about any disasters in Jackson Hole this week.

What do you think?
